Rapper Joey Bada$$ is getting dragged online after sharing a motivational message about getting your “priorities” straight — just as his now-ex-fiancée Serayah accused him of repeatedly cheating throughout their relationship.

In a video shared to Instagram, Joey spoke about productivity and priorities, telling followers that being busy doesn’t necessarily mean they’re moving forward. His caption read in part, “Pick a priority, measure the results, and adjust.” While the post was originally shared several days ago, followers flooded the comments after Serayah publicly announced she had ended their engagement.

The timing wasn’t lost on social media users. One person wrote, “I see your family wasn’t a priority smh,” while another commented, “Somebody clearly didn’t have their priorities straight.” A third joked, “Every time a ninja become motivational he did something bad.” Another added, “You starting this video off with ‘y’all gotta get y’all’s priorities straight’ is crazy lol.”

The backlash comes after Serayah announced that she ended her engagement and relationship with Joey, with whom she shares a son.
