Reality Star Kash’s Mom Says Daughter Charged In Her Fatal Shooting Is Heartbroken, Wishes She Could Trade Places w/ Late Sister

The mother of late reality TV star Kash is speaking out about the devastating tragedy involving her two daughters, revealing that the daughter accused of accidentally sh00ting Kash is struggling to cope with her d3ath.

According to TMZ, Kash’s mother, Cynthia, says she has visited her daughter, Vernika Dunbar, in jail following the October 11 sh00ting in Oakland, California. Cynthia claims Vernika has been crying uncontrollably and repeatedly expressing that she wishes she could trade places with her late sister. She says she has reminded Vernika that she still has children who need her and a family that loves her.

As previously reported, Kash was f@tally shot during an altercation with another woman. According to Oakland police, Vernika allegedly grabbed a g*n from someone in their group and attempted to p•stol-whip the woman involved in the fight. However, the firearm discharged, striking Kash in the head. Kash was transported to a hospital, where she was pronounced d3ad. Vernika was subsequently charged with involuntary m@nsl@ughter, a$$ault with a f*rearm and carrying a loaded f•rearm in public.

Cynthia insists the sh00ting was a tragic accident and maintains that there was never any bad blood between her daughters. She recalled that the family had spent the day attending her granddaughter’s flag football game before going to a motorcycle club that evening. According to Cynthia, Kash and Vernika were singing together and enjoying themselves just hours before the f@tal incident. She also believes the woman involved in the original altercation should face legal consequences.

Despite the criminal charges against Vernika, Cynthia says the family continues to support her while mourning Kash. She maintains that Vernika never intended to harm her sister and that the family is struggling to come to terms with the tragedy.
