Lil Durk Reportedly Placed In Solitary Confinement After Allegedly Being Reprimanded For Talking Back’ While Questioning Repeated Cell Searches

#LilDurk is reportedly back in solitary confinement as he awaits his next federal trial.

According to TMZ, the #Chicago rapper was placed in the Special Housing Unit (SHU) at Los Angeles’ Metropolitan Detention Center on Friday (Oct. 30). Sources claim Durk’s cell has been “constantly searched” since his acquittal in his m*rder-for-hire case, despite authorities reportedly finding no contraband. Insiders allege Durk was moved to solitary after questioning the deputy warden about the repeated searches and being reprimanded for “talking back.”

The Bureau of Prisons declined to address the allegations, telling TMZ, “For privacy, safety, and security reasons we do not discuss the conditions of confinement for any individual in our custody, including housing assignments, potential disciplinary infractions, or internal security measures.” As reported, #Durk was found not guilty in his m*rder-for-hire trial in September but still faces felony racketeering and fire@rms charges. His second trial, initially scheduled for October, has since been postponed until August 2027.
