Should LHHA’s Karlie Redd Choose Benzino Over Her Career?

If you watched last night’s episode of Love & Hip-Hop: Atlanta, the level of entertainment did not let you down. And while there were a number of plots that warrant responses, I’m interested to hear what you feel about the relationship between cast members rapper Karlie Redd and Benzino. In short, here’s what happened. Karlie’s manager had a conversation with her, expressing his concern about her dating Benzino, especially because he’s “not hot”. He suggested that she should focus on her career, as opposed to love. Later in the episode, Karlie stays the night at Benzino’s home. In addition to making her breakfast in bed, he also gave her a key to his home. At this point, she explains that her manager is concerned about their relationship and mentions that her manager said that he was ‘not hot’. Benzino angrily responds:
“If you want to let them guide your life, and everything has to be hot and cold or whatever, they need to get you a hit motherf—ing record, ’cause it’s not like you’re so mothef—ing hot yourself either.”
Ouch! My question to you is, should Karlie focus more on her career or should she follow her heart and continue her relationship with Benzino? And is it possible that she can have both?
