Alicia Keys’ Personal Message to Egypt

As you all know, there is something historical and disturbing taking place in Egypt, as we speak. Most of us have watched for the past two weeks feeling helpless. Alicia Keys recently took to her blog to express her thoughts on the crisis in Egypt. “When people find themselves caught in a place where their dreams, hopes and ideas have nowhere to breathe or fly, something happens. Something that is so natural and powerful, like the water we seek when thirsty, or the food we need when hungry takes over. This energy to change, to move in a different direction produces a voice—a voice loud and strong enough to vibrate and shake the wall that attempts to oppress the will of the masses and the fight for the future. From that first small voice that dared to speak, to resist, to protest – a small, but important insult has now grown into a voice of millions that cannot and will not be silenced.” Read Keys’s whole message here.

WHY CONCERN FOR EGYPT? Egypt is one of three mideast countries that has signed a “peace agreement” with Israel.

The three countries who signed a peace treaty with Israel: Egypt, Jordan, and Tunisia – Morocco. The Tunisian government fell on January 14, 2010. Both Egypt and Jordan are teetering on the brink of collapse.

Egypt has a population of more than 80 million people – making Egypt a “pillar” within the mideast region. If the Egyptian governments collapse, Israel will have NO allies in the region. Presently, the Jordanian government is teetering on the brink of collapse as of this writing. Egypt has been an ally to the United States and Israel for more than thirty years – Egypt’s presence in the region has allowed Israel to exist in peace throughout this time. In fact, the United States pays Egypt $1.3 billion a year for its role in maintaining peace in the region. With the fall of Egypt, the Gog & Magog war (Ezekiel 38 & 39) is imminent. With the toppling of the Lebanese government on January 12, 2011, Hezbollah, a terrorist organization that is loyal to Iran, successfully took control of both government and country without one shot being fired.- January 13, 2011, Israel placed Israeli Defense Forces at the northern border on high alert. Furthermore, Israel’s southern border, which borders Gaza is under the control of Hamas – Hamas is another terrorist organization that is loyal to the Iranian regime.

In conclusion, the stage is set for war with Israel; all of the “key” players are in place for the War of Gog and Magog.

According to Ezekiel 39:2, the enemies of Israel will commence its attack from the northern side of Israel, which is currently on high alert – SCRIPTURE: Ezekiel 39:2 – I will turn you around and drag you along. I will bring you from the far north and send you against the mountains of Israel.

The Egyptian who is vying to take the place of current Egyptian President Hosni Mubarak is Mohammed ElBaradei, the former head of the UN’s International Atomic Energy Agency; ElBaradei returned to Egypt from Vienna to participate in anti-regime demonstrations. ElBaradei, as a replacement to Mubarak, should cause great concern for Israel and the United States for the following reasons: As IAEA head, Elbaradei shielded Iran’s nuclear weapons program from the Security Council. He repeatedly ignored evidence indicating that Iran’s nuclear program was a military program rather than a civilian energy program. When the evidence became too glaring to ignore, Elbaradei continued to lobby against significant UN Security Council sanctions or other actions against Iran and obscenely equated Israel’s purported nuclear program to Iran’s. If Mohammed ElBaradei takes over as president of Egypt, Iran will then have control of the entire Middle East region.

With the toppling of the Egyptian government, Jordan will be the only country in the mideast region with a current peace agreement with Israel – Jordan is rumored to be on the brink of collapse. Therefore, if the Egyptian and Jordanian government’s collapse, war against Israel is guaranteed – We must pray for the Jews and Israel, as the Father’s divine plan of redemption plays out.

The importance of these events are extremely crucial to Bible prophecy. According to Ezekiel 38 & 39 the countries to participate in this attack are:

Magog – Russians of Scythian origin located north of the Black Sea and Caucus Mountains; Rosh – geographic area of central eastern Russia including what is now Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Uzbekistan, Turkmenistan and possibly Afghanistan; Meshech – Turkey and possibly Azerbaijan; Tubal – SE side of the Black Sea (Turkey); Gomer – Germany and/or select eastern European countries including possibly the Balkans; Beth Togarmah – Turkey and/or Armenia; Persia – Iran; Cush – Ethiopia and/or Sudan; and, Put – Libya.

HOW DO THESE DEVELOPMENTS AFFECT THE GENTILE CHURCH?

There are two significant verses in Ezekiel 39 that clearly signals the end of the “Gentile Church” – Ezekiel 39:9 and Ezekiel 39:23-29.

Ezekiel 39:9 ~ “Then those who live in the towns of Israel will go out and use the weapons for fuel and burn them up–the small and large shields, the bows and arrows, the war clubs and spears. For seven years they will use them for fuel.

    ANALYSIS:
Ezekiel 39:9, clearly speaks of Israel as victorious over its enemies, while taking control of the military machinery and armament of its enemies. However, the verse also speaks of the captured machinery and armament as sustaining Israel for seven years – please realize that these will be seven Tribulation years for Israel and the Jews for their disobedience towards God. Israel’s time of Tribulation will commence once the seven year peace agreement is confirmed by the coming antichrist according to Daniel 9:27.

    Ezekiel 39:23-29 ~
23 The nations will then know why Israel was sent away to exile — it was punishment for sin, for they acted in treachery against their God. Therefore, I turned my back on them and let their enemies destroy them.
24 I turned my face away and punished them in proportion to the vileness of their sins.
25 “So now the Sovereign LORD says: I will end the captivity of my people ; I will have mercy on Israel, for I am jealous for my holy reputation!
26 They will accept responsibility for their past shame and treachery against me after they come home to live in peace and safety in their own land. And then no one will bother them or make them afraid.
27 When I bring them home from the lands of their enemies, my holiness will be displayed to the nations.
28 Then my people will know that I am the LORD their God — responsible for sending them away to exile and responsible for bringing them home. I will leave none of my people behind.
29 And I will never again turn my back on them, for I will pour out my Spirit upon them, says the Sovereign LORD.”

    ANALYSIS:
Another important verse to hone in on is Ezekiel 39:29, which states that the Father will begin pouring out His Spirit on the Jews as a result of this war – currently, the Father is pouring our His Spirit on the Gentile church, which will soon come to an end. This is very important because, according to Romans 11:2-8, 17-28, at present, the Jews are blinded and have hardened hearts towards the “Good News” gospel until the full number of Gentiles are grafted into the olive tree of salvation – only a select few have come to the truth of the “Good News” gospel. As a result of this war – fought by the mighty hand of God, all nations will know that the Jews are God’s people, and the Jew’s will acknowledge their Lord; turn from their sins and come to repentance.

    Romans 11:2-8
2 No, God has not rejected his own people, whom he chose from the very beginning. Do you remember what the Scriptures say about this? Elijah the prophet complained to God about the people of Israel and said,
3 “Lord, they have killed your prophets and torn down your altars. I alone am left, and now they are trying to kill me, too.”
4 And do you remember God’s reply? He said, “You are not the only one left. I have seven thousand others who have never bowed down to Baal!”
5 It is the same today, for not all the Jews have turned away from God. A few are being saved as a result of God’s kindness in choosing them.
6 And if they are saved by God’s kindness, then it is not by their good works. For in that case, God’s wonderful kindness would not be what it really is — free and undeserved.
7 So this is the situation: Most of the Jews have not found the favor of God they are looking for so earnestly. A few have — the ones God has chosen — but the rest were made unresponsive.
8 As the Scriptures say, “God has put them into a deep sleep. To this very day he has shut their eyes so they do not see, and closed their ears so they do not hear.”

It is the result of this war that will open the eyes and ears of the Jews and bring them back to their Messiah/Yashua/Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.

    Romans 11:17-26
17 But some of these branches from Abraham’s tree, some of the Jews, have been broken off. And you Gentiles, who were branches from a wild olive tree, were grafted in. So now you also receive the blessing God has promised Abraham and his children, sharing in God’s rich nourishment of his special olive tree.
18 But you must be careful not to brag about being grafted in to replace the branches that were broken off. Remember, you are just a branch, not the root.
19 “Well,” you may say, “those branches were broken off to make room for me.”
20 Yes, but remember — those branches, the Jews, were broken off because they didn’t believe God, and you are there because you do believe. Don’t think highly of yourself, but fear what could happen.
21 For if God did not spare the branches he put there in the first place, he won’t spare you either.
22 Notice how God is both kind and severe. He is severe to those who disobeyed, but kind to you as you continue to trust in his kindness. But if you stop trusting, you also will be cut off.
23 And if the Jews turn from their unbelief, God will graft them back into the tree again. He has the power to do it.
24 For if God was willing to take you who were, by nature, branches from a wild olive tree and graft you into his own good tree — a very unusual thing to do — he will be far more eager to graft the Jews back into the tree where they belong.
25 I want you to understand this mystery, dear brothers and sisters, so that you will not feel proud and start bragging. Some of the Jews have hard hearts, but this will last only until the complete number of Gentiles comes to Christ.
26 And so all Israel will be saved.

As the world watches the turmoil over in the middle east approach a boiling point, it is absolutely crucial that the Gentile church get its “spiritual house” in order – The Father is coming for a “Church” without spot or wrinkle (Ephesians 5:27).

The covenant with the Gentiles will soon end, as the Father turns His attention back to the Jews. Please understand that the Tribulation period is a time of unparalleled turmoil, evil, and wickedness upon the earth – like no other time in the history of the earth. The Tribulation also know as the time of “Jacob’s Troubles” is meant for Israel’s punishment for her disobedience and idolatry. This time will also be for the punishment of unbelievers, and this includes luke-warm believers, false prophets, and false teachers.

Many who know me, know that I have been waiting impatiently for the coming war of Gog and Magog because, it would truly signal the end of the “Gentile” church age – keep in mind that a small slither of time will exist from the ending of this war until the rapturing of the saints; the Bible was written from cover to cover, which means the Father’s word will not return void – He is coming whether you are ready or not. It is truly time for the saints to prepare, watch, pray, and look up, as our redemption is drawing near!

    God bless!
