Diana Ross to Gain Joint Custody of Michael Jackson’s Children
According to Radar Online, Diana Ross (real name Diana Ernestine Earle Ross) may be the next in line to get joint custody of Michael Jackson’s three children (Prince Michael, 15, Paris, 14 and 10-year-old Blanket).
Michael and Diana were extremely close, as far back as the Jackson 5 days. And according to reports, the 68-year-old singer is noted as a back up guardian to the children, in his will, after his mother, Katherine. An insider shares:
‘Diana has no qualms whatsoever about the new custody agreement, she only wants what is best for the children. Diana knows that the children are old enough to decide who they want to live with and she defers to what they want. While Diana hasn’t been a big part of their lives because she lives on the East Coast, she is very fond of them.’
Reportedly, paperwork will be submitted this week for shared custody and the judge will have to sign off the proposed agreement before it becomes official. Ms. Ross has five children and is also a grandmother.
