Dwyane Wade Congrats Usher Raymond On Winning Custody Battle
It seems as if all of us are chiming in (raises hand) on the judges Friday ruling, granting Usher with primary physical custody of his two sons, ending a long custody battle with his ex-wife, Tameka (Foster) Raymond. Fulton County Superior Court Judge Bensonetta Tipton Lane ruled that the Grammy-Award winning singer will have primary custody of 4-year-old Usher Raymond V and 3-year-old Naviyd Ely Raymond, according to the spokeswoman for the court clerk’s office. His custody will start Sept. 1. After the news hit, a few celebs chimed in, tweeting their two cents on the court’s ruling. NBA baller, Dwyane Wade, who has had his fair share of public custody issues with his ex-wife, tweeted:

I’m heartsick over the verdict. Children need to be with their mother! She was willing to have joint custody. This negro travels all the time on tour – so those kids will now be with nannies for a good part of the time. #selfish

I think Usher needs a foot up his a$$, real talk. It makes no sense why he wasn’t willing to have joint custody. It’s just sickening. I’m no longer a fan.. honestly. I think he did her very dirty. SMH..

I don’t like how nasty Tameka is on twitter – to me that speaks volumes of her character.
I always question the father’s motive to take his kids from their mom.
I don’t think Usher should have dropped his claim after she lost her son though – that would have been bogus – why come here in the first place if you would drop your claims out of sympathy? It is tragic but one thing really has nothing to do with the other.
He did try to delay it for awhile and was denied.

There are many facts that the Judge must consider when awarding custody; many of which we don’t know. I definitely don’t agree that “all children should be with their mother.” There are many fathers just as capable of caring for their children.
Why do ppl keep bringing up the fact that her son just passed?!?! That has ABSOLUTELY NOTHING to do with this case. I’m sure Usher had his reasons and obviously they were good enough to the judge.
