[Photos] Regina King, Gabrielle Union, Tracee Ellis Ross & Friends Attend Black Girls Rock!

Over the weekend, BET kicked off one of our favorite 'girl power' shows, Black Girls Rock! Hosted by Tracee Ellis Ross and Regina King, the annual show went down in Bronx, NY.

Founded by Beverly Bond, the purpose of the show is to honor black women that continuously give back to their community and others. Some of the honorees included Alicia Keys, Susan L Taylor, Kerry Washington and Dionne Warick. Performances included Ciara, India Arie, Alicia Keys, Missy Elliot (*Whoops Spoiler Alert*), Luke James, Brandy and wait for it…SWV (who shut the stage down, BTW). Of course some of your favorite black women celebs were also in attendance–Gabrielle Union, LaLa Vasquez, Bridget Kelly, Salt & Pepper, and Taraj P. Henson. But what's a night full of women with no eye candy? Some of our favorite Stop & Stare moments included, Idris, Luke James, Anthony Hamiliton and Eric Benet, who all took to the stage to honor women attendance. Now, for one of our favorite parts of the show—the RED CARPET. Peep who we spotted.

Black Girls Rock will premiere on November 4th on BET.
