The Wire’s Felicia ‘Snoop’ Pearson Released from Jail

Felicia ‘Snoop’ Pearson, who was featured in the HBO series, The Wire, has been released from jail. Pearson, along with 60 other people, was arrested and charged in a drug conspiracy case and had been ordered held without bond. Pearson has been charged with some type of involvement with a drug operation in Baltimore city. According to the Baltimore Sun, Pearson’s attorney, Benjamin Sutley negotiated Pearson’s release. She now wears an electronic bracelet and is allowed to travel to Philadelphia to film a movie. Her attorney shared, “We had a lot of discussions, but mostly it was just about legitimizing that, if she gets out, she’ll be working and she’s not a flight risk. We were able to get her before Judge Howard, and he agreed.” Her arraignment is set for May 5. Source
