If it wasn’t you, chances are you may have heard stories from those you know who have experienced unfair treatment — shopping while black. Well Rashid Polo, a teen from Minnesota decided to document the happenings. Taking to his semi-popular Vine account he began posting videos of his shopping experiences where the clerks—of opposite race—would follow him around the store. And being widely relateable, his 6-second videos went from a few hundred thousand to 30 million in a week.
