(EXCLUSIVE) Damon Dash Settles 3 Mill Legal Battle w/ Rapper Curren$y Over Failed Deal
theJasmineBRAND.com exclusively reports, Damon Dash has settled the $3 million dollar legal battle with rapper Curren$y over a failed record deal, with Dash being accused of screwing the rapper out millions by releasing his music without permission.
As previously reported, Dash was sued by Curren$y who claimed the music mogul was selling his music without the rights. He explained the two almost worked out a deal to release music together in 2010, but it fell through. Prior to the deal falling through, the rapper and Dash released 2 albums.
Curren$y said he eventually signed with Warner Bros. in 2011, but Dash continued to release his music without permission. He said that Dash was screwing up his deal with WB and filed suit demanding an injunction against him for releasing his songs and also $1.5 million in damages he caused him.
