Mike Epps Character Killed On ‘Survivors Remorse’ Because He Asked For A Raise
If you hope to see Mike Epps’ character on next season of Survivor’s Remorse — don’t hold your breath. The 45-year-old comedian/actor played the character of Julius on the hit LeBron James-produced Starz series. So why is he NOT returning for another season? He says because he wanted a pay raise. Epps revealed this juicy bit of tea, at the TCA, while promoting his newest show, Uncle Buck. He stated:
I asked for some more money and they killed me. That’s usually what happens on TV shows, if you can remember ‘Good Times,’ that’s what happened.
He joked:
[On] ‘Survivor’s Remorse, I was like 24th lead.
Fans of Epps can catch him this year on Uncle Buck, as well as co-stars Nia Long and James Lesure. [The Wrap]
