Bun B – Mugshot Released Of Man Accused of Breaking Into Rapper’s Home & Holding Wife At Gunpoint
New details have surfaced surrounding the attempted home invasion at Bun B’s (real name Bernard Freeman) home. The mugshot has been released of Demonte Jackson, the man accused of breaking into the rapper’s home and holding his wife at gunpoint.
As previously reported, Bun B’s wife, Queenie Freeman says that she and her husband were home when she heard the doorbell ring and answered it, expecting it to be a package delivery.
Reportedly, the suspect forced his way into the home demanding money and valuables. At that point, Queenie told the robber to go into the garage and take their vehicle.
Bun B was upstairs when the robbery suspect entered the home. He reportedly grabbed his pistol and confronted the suspect in the garage. The suspect and Bun B fired gunshots toward each other and the suspect fell out of the vehicle. The suspect then ran down the street, Bun B chased him down and held him at gunpoint and pulled off the suspect’s mask.
At one point, the suspect broke free from Bun B and ran away. The suspect suffered a gunshot wound to the left shoulder and was hospitalized. He will be charged with two counts of aggravated robbery and burglary of a habitation.
An attorney for Bun B says Queenie is very upset because the suspect pointed his weapon at her head. The couple have yet to release a statement about the incident.
