Another night, another Atlanta party. This week, we caught ATL rappers partying at Vanquish Lounge, celebrating the official tasting of Jay-Z’s D’USSE Cognac. Hosted by T.I., we spotted Usher, Young Jeezy, Usher, Toya Wright, Bryan Michael-Cox, Nicole Ari-Parker, Kenny Burns, Bow Wow’s mom Teresa Caldwell, RHOA’s Walter Jackson and a few other fancy folk.
This week, we broke the story that an alleged altercation had taken place between Love & Hip Hop Atlanta’s K.Michelle and Mimi Faust, at K’s NYC show, B.B. Kings. Click here to read the backstory. Originally, we had stated that Mimi had been slapped, with an open-hand by K.Michelle, but we stand corrected. According to a statement released by Mimi’s camp, she was actually hit with flowers, not with K’s hand. Since the incident occurred, neither camp has commented on what went down. However, late last night, Mimi’s camp sent out the following statement:

A day after rumors hit (no pun intended), that K.Michelle and Mimi Faust got physical with one another, K took her talent’s to perform at Washington, DC’s Howard Theatre. After her performance, she chatted backstage with WPGC’s Aladdin ‘Prince of the Airwavez’. In addition to putting on a soulful show, she opened up about what (sorta, kinda) happened backstage with Mimi, why she’s decided to leave LHHA (after this season), her love for Delta Sigma Theta sorority and motherhood. This week, the Memphis native, who is one of the stars of Love & Hip Hop Atlanta, visited the Breakfast Club dishing on her new album (Rebellious Soul), what really happened with NBA baller J.R. Smith, along with her thoughts on the sexuality of Mimi Faust’s new man. Check out a few excerpts.
On what inspired her new album, ‘Rebellious Soul’:
That whole album is about that boy [JR Smith]. When dudes use us for coochie, I use them for songs.
Yeah, man he played me. I was in love. I was so open dude, I was ready to cook breakfast naked. I was ready to sit own. I was very sincere. He was so persistent. I was going thru my angry black woman syndraome, it was lot of nagging, a lot of fussing.
