Recap–DC Spot Light…The Fortune 500 Event

Kudos to DC promoter, Mitch Mathis and DT Nation, for throwing a successful event last night. DT Nation’s The Fortune 500 Event was an exclusive invite-only party, themed appropriately, For the Young, Rich, Out of Control & Socially Responsible. Some of the proceeds from the event will benefit DIVAS, MPH, a non-profit who focuses on health and wellness programs.

The event lived up to its name w/ a nice turn-out, fashion-forward party-goers and a festive atmosphere.  

When the girls and I arrived, we saw a few limo’s drop guests off. Meanwhile, I’m valeting like the common folk ;-)   

We arrived around 12:30 a.m. and the party appeared to be in full swing.  

Everyone looked fashonably fly.  

Very few women, and there were lots of em, had on gowns. Other folks, like myself, had on cocktail attire–dresses, clutches, all of that. The men looked quite ‘old school handsome’ with tailored suits and tuxes.   

Fortunately, or unfortunately for that matter, there was no drama to report ;-) We had a great time! Special thanks to Mio’s staff, along with Ally of DT Nation for taking care of me! More pics posted lata!
