Aretha Franklin’s First Public Appearnce @ Pistons-Heat Game

Aretha Franklin was all smiles at last night’s Piston’s game against the Miami Heat. This was Franklin’s first public appearance since dealing with an unidentified illness late last year. During the first quarter of the game, the big screen showed Franklin and played some of her songs. Apparently the crowds loved it. During half-time, a few players visited with her and Jesse Jackson. When asked if she came to watch LeBron James, she said, “I see Dwyane Wade. He is really on tonight. Dwyane Wade is on tonight.”
