Tameka Raymond Explains Why She Attempted Plastic Surgery

40-year-old Tameka Foster (formerly Raymond) who was formerly married to Usher Raymond, finally discusses the issue surrounding her attempted plastic surgery procedure. The couple was marred from 2007 and their divorce was finalized in 2009. In 2009, while they were still married, Foster went to Sao Paulo, Brazil with her children and nanny. While there, she attempted to to get liposuction and went into cardiac arrest. There was much media speculation surrounding the incident because she and Usher were said to be having marital issues.

To date, Foster hasn’t really opened up about the incident. Foster is featured in the April 2011 issue of Sister 2 Sister magazine where she opens up. She shared: “I’ve always been a person who has been into my body and staying fit. And I had a baby, like, three months earlier. And I’m not going to lie, I was mad at my husband at the time so I thought, ‘Let’s take a trip.’ So I took my sister. I took my nanny. And I took my assistant. And everybody was shocked, like, ‘Vacation?’ I was like ‘Yep. I’m going to Brazil.’ And when I got there I made a really dumb decision. It was dumb, because it wasn’t nothing a few crunches and another month wouldn’t have gotten off. I never had the surgery. I ended up going into cardiac arrest while I was getting anesthesia.” Peep the full story here.
