Mo & Kita Launch “Define Your Pretty” Campaign & Hair Products

Creators, Executive Producers and co-stars of VH1’s “The T.O. Show,” Monique “Mo” Jackson and Kita Williams have created a 501(c)3 non-profit empowerment campaign entitled, Define Your Pretty. Established to empower women from the inside out, the campaign encourages dialogue and analysis of the way women are portrayed in the media. The first African-American women to create, executive produce, and star in a sports-based reality show, Mo and Kita understand the meaning of hard work and the importance of being positive role models.

In addition to starring in theVH1 reality series, “The T.O. Show,” (the show follows the life of American football star Terrell Owens), the two are also headliners of United Negro College Fund’s (UNCF) 2011 “Empower Me Tour.” Mo and Kita are currently travelling across the country to Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCU) introducing their Define Your Pretty empowerment campaign accompanied by their Define Your Pretty Collection of hair and beauty collection.
Kita explains,
“Pretty isn’t just about the visual aspects…a lot of young girls don’t understand that. Define Your Pretty means you define pretty by your own standards. You can be pretty talented, pretty creative, pretty smart…Once you define that from the inside, you can use the Define Your Pretty Collection products to gloss yourself up on the outside.”
