{Branded Event} the Jasmine BRAND Hosts “Qream-Of-The-Crop” Dinner
Earlier this week, in the midst of celebrating my 16th birthday (don’t roll your eyes, friend!), I also hosted an exclusive celebratory dinner, titled “Qream of the Crop :: Washington Women Power Players” (#QreamOfTheCrop). Held at Washington, DC’s Againn restaurant, and sponsored by Qream, the purpose of the dinner was to honor and acknowledge respected Washington women “Power Players” in media, fashion, beauty and nightlife, while exposing guests to a brand created especially for women. Guests included: Jummy Olabanji (of ABC News), Charmyonne (of Vibe Vixen), Sunni (of WPGC), Cat Bynum (of The Park at Fourteenth), Ashley Silva (of IAmSuperGorge), Damelia Shaw (of Destination DC), Meka Mathis (of Skin Beauty Lounge), Yodit Gebreyes (of Talk of DC) and Christine Brooks–Cropper (of the Fashion Chamber of Commerce).
In addition to dinner, guests experienced Qream cocktails (the Qream Peach & Vita Coco Coconut water cocktails were a huge hit, especially for those health conscious guests), a Qream presentation (by Karim Lateef of Charmer-Sunbelt), all while having a live portrait painted of them by Demont “Peekaso” Pinder. Guests received gift bags with a bottle of Nuvo, t-shirts, tickets to an upcoming Meek Mill concert, a Skin Beauty Lounge gift certificate and a safe-sex packet from Calvary Health Care.
