Reportedly, when Davis was pulled over the officer noticed his watery and bloodshot eyes, slurred speech and alcohol breath. Allegedly, Davis refused the breathalyzer and also resisted arrest by flailing his arms to avoid being handcuffed, adding to his list of charges. According to Davis, he had to take the wheel when his friend was too intoxicated to drive. He also clarified that his arm is currently in a sling, due to the injuries he obtained when he fell while being arrested.Doug E Fresh flew in from to Manhattan to post his son’s $2,000 bail. Of the incident, Doug E Fresh explained,
“He’s a nice guy, just caught in an unfortunate set of circumstances, that’s all. Growing up, that happens… I’m definitely going to have a conversation with him and make him look at it and make him understand. When kids are growing up, there’s always something.”
Davis is due to appear in court next month.
