Amber Rose’s Publicist Denies Releasing Statement

Just a few days ago, we reported that Amber Rose‘s ex-publicist, Janero Marchand, had revealed some private (hopefully false) details about Amber’s past relationship with rapper Kanye West. Janero claims that 28-year-old Amber “Rose” Levonchuck stole money from him, as well as Kanye. Janero went on to announce that he would be revealing even more details in his tell-all book about Amber, which is scheduled for release in February.

Fast forward to one day later, and the media has been buzzing with a story about Amber’s new publicist, James Campbell (pictured with Amber above). Several media outlets reported that Campbell released a statement in Amber’s defense against Janero. The sites claimed that Campbell wrote the following statement,

“My name is James Campbell, Amber Rose’s current PR person. I would like to  address the controversy regarding Amber and Janero Marchand. First off, I’d like  to clarify that Mr. Marchand has never worked with Amber as far her public  relations. Anyone with intelligence can obviously see that this man is using her  as a target to market himself and leverage his name in the industry, which he  obviously failed. Being a publicist for over 10 years, I have never heard of  this maniac’s name or his silly company.

Amber, her manager, Antonio, and I are entirely disgusted by this demented fool.  It is an utter shock that this guy took the time out of his day to fabricate an  email (supposedly sent by Amber) and a ridiculous story, and send it to blogs in  hopes of it being a topic without any sort of apprehension of how this might  effect her. I hope that his current clients on his roster (which i know is not  much) realize how dangerous this phony is and quickly find someone else who is  more qualified and help them become a topic.”

Seems like a real statement, right? According to both Amber and Campbell, the statement is false.  Both she and Campbell jumped on twitter, shortly afterward, to deny ever releasing such a statement.

As a result, most of the media sites that posted the false statement quickly removed the story. Nonethless, Janero’s book is still supposedly coming out soon. I’m sure some drama will unfold around that time. Updated: Thursday afternoon, I spoke with Amber’s real publicist, James Campbell, via phone, about this story. Campbell did communicate that he absolutely did NOT release a statement and that someone is impersonating him and has created a fake email account. Yikes.

Now I have to wreck my brain thinking about why Amber’s publicist looks so familiar! Was he on a reality show??

Erica and Amber both doing a track? Neither one of them can sing!!! Who’s idea was this!? And for Amber to be talking SOOO much about Ye the past month, why has she not shared her side of this story yet? Very suspect. Seems like it could be true, but hell, I’m just a college student from Nebraska

Yes, James was Kimora’s intern on Life in the Fab Lane. I guess he is a publicist now! LOL!! I remember when he was running behind Kimora getting her coffee and doing all her little errands and getting yelled at. Good for him, doing well for himself now.
