He Said, She Said … Azealia Banks Goes At Lil Kim On Twitter, Says Kim Has Ghost-Writer

Over the weekend, a twitter beef ensued between rapper Azealia Banks’ and Lil Kim’s teams. It seems that the Notorious K.I.M. agreed to do a track with the 20-year-old Harlem rapper for her upcoming mix tape, “Broke With Expensive Taste”. Somewhere down the line, some wires were crossed, and Kim is no longer going to do the track. Banks, who made it public that she was a huge Lil’ Kim fan, tweeted yesterday:
“I can’t lie… My little feelings are hurt. Women are so petty… But whatever… Your Loss… Not mine.”
Meanwhile, Lil’ Kim’s camp is denying that they ever even spoke to Azealia Banks, so there was never an agreement to do a song. According to them, she made up the beef herself for publicity. Kim’s publicist, CJ Carter, told AllHipHop.com:
“My client and Azealia have NEVER spoke to one another or met AT ALL. Kim was actually very flattered Azealia’s public admiration for her, which is why it’s so hard to understand how someone who claims to be a true Lil Kim fan could flip the script so easily on someone who was supposedly their idol… We have no idea what they are referencing and have no desire to discuss the matter any further as there is nothing to talk about. It honestly seems that someone from Azealia’s team would rather have her fans buy into manufactured drama instead of buying music.”
Banks is sticking to her story, and this morning she sent out a series of tweets explaining her side of the story:

So whose side are you taking? Do you believe Azealia Banks, or do you think this is a publicity stunt?
