Mike Tyson, Laila Ali, Gayle King Attend Spike Lee’s ‘Red Hook Summer’ Premiere

Monday evening, all of black Hollywood took their talents to New York, to catch Spike Lee’s anticipated film, ‘Red Hook Summer.’

The film tells the story of Flik Royale, a young boy from Atlanta who spends the summer with his deeply religious grandfather, Bishop Enoch Rouse, in the housing projects of Red Hook. Prior to the premiere, we chatted and caught up with a number of celebs like Mike Tyson, BET’s Debra Lee, Stephen Hill, Cassidy, Mona Scott Young, Gayle King, Bevy Smith and some other fancy folk on the carpet. The cast – Clarke Peters, Nate Parker, Thomas Jefferson Byrd, Jules Brown, Toni Lysaith, Heather Alicia Simms, James Ransone was also in attendance. The evening ended with a party at Brooklyn’s Frank’s. Peep the pix.
