Love-Don’t-Live-Here-Anymore: Chris Brown & Karrueche Officially Split

Chris Brown has released an official statement regarding the status of his relationship with Karrueche Tran. Rumors of the couple separating after (about) 2 years began when Chris and his ex-girlfriend Rihanna were spotted together three consecutive days in a row this week in New York. The two were rumored to have reconciled after Rihanna confessed her love for the superstar while on Oprah’s Next Chapter back in August.

Though the two were together over the weekend in Atlanta for a charity basketball game, subliminal tweets flew back and forth between Brown and Tran earlier in the week. Thursday morning, Chris finally released a statement addressing speculations. Chris said, 

“I have decided to be single to focus on my career. I love Karrueche very much but I don't want to see her hurt over my friendship with Rihanna. I'd rather be single allowing us to both be happy in our lives.”

The break up comes after eyewitnesses allegedly seen Chris and Rihanna hugging, kissing and going into the back of the club alone together for an unspecified amount of time. P.S. Karrueche was spotted on her way to the airport leaving NY yesterday while Chris stayed behind. Is it just me or does she look a little distressed?
