Basketball Wives LA’s Fight Episode Gets Better TV Ratings, 2 Million Viewers
Great news for VH1 and the cast of Basketball Wives: LA. Recently, we shared news that the numbers for Basketball Wives: LA had dropped–noticeably. So much that one of the show’s creator’s, Shaunie O’Neal, had threatened a ‘make-over’. Over the weekend, we learned that the network has plans to give four of it’s cast mates a pink slip, asking them not to return for another season. Reportedly, Jackie Christie and Draya Michele are the only two being considered to return. In early October, the show was bringing in a little over 1 million viewers. Fast forward to the present day and Monday’s episode, did well. TV By The Numbers reports that the show brought in 2.1 million viewers.
The question is, can the show sustain these type of numbers? Can they do so without the fights (although the network decided not to show the actual footage)? And can this save some of the cast from being axed?
P.S. Laura responded on twitter about rumors that she’s been given a pink slip by VH1…peep her response:
