I love and admire Solange Knowles because she’s fearless, kind, soulful, and most importantly an individual. No matter what’s trending or popular in the world, Solange always remains true to herself. I admire her strength as a mother, and her unique ability to capture her heart and soul in every note while bringing you into her world of REAL music. Solange is just dope!

Richelle E. Goodrich once said, “Artistry exists in everyone. What makes it blossom is a soul’s personal desire to find an outlet for expression.”, and I truly believe we are seeing an expression of Solange’s artistry in bloom. She has fused pieces of her life, love, pain, influences, insecurities, and boldness and her passion for fashion, art and world travel, put them on really dope beats, and has created INCREDIBLE music. The richness and uniqueness of her artistry isn’t just amazing to see, but it liberates others to find their own expression no matter how different it is. Seeing this woman in concert would certainly be a life highlight for me….

In my eyes Solange is the epitome of one who is ahead of her time as well as capturing the essence/era of what music & style used to be. I love Solange because of her unique and refreshing approach to artistry. Her form of expression through lyrics, fashion, travel and dance inspires me to rock out how I want, wear mixed prints, and just love life as it is. Winning the tickets to the concert would definitely make me happy and put me in that same zone that Solange is always so wonderfully in…I hope this #SolangeInspired girl is chosen :)

What I love most about Solange and her music is that she, and it, transcend music, artistry,
and genre as we know it today. She truly is one of the greats of our time, and I think her music and style can be put in almost any genre and time period and it would still be relevant. She embodies everything I love about art, music, photography, fashion, beauty, creativity, femininity, boldness, fearlessness, world culture, and diversity, and her music is the perfect blend of all of that. From Solo Star, to Sol-Angel and The Hadley St. Dreams, and now True, I have been a huge fan and have loved watching the evolution of Solange as an artist. Her live performances are brilliant and I hope I am luck enough to experience that on Thursday night…
