Tyler Perry, Kandi Burruss Attend ‘Kunta Kinteh Island’ Documentary
Tyler Perry and film maker Elvin Ross recently hosted the Atlanta Premiere screening of the new documentary film produced by Elvin Ross Studios, “Kunta Kinteh Island: Coming Home Without Shackles”.
The films storyline centers around the celebrated captive African, Kunta Kinteh, who gained worldwide recognition in the 1977 ABC television series “Roots”. A number of celebs were in attendance of the Atlanta premiere–Soledad O’Brien (CNN Anchor/Producer of Black in America Series), Kandi Burruss (Real Housewives of Atlanta), Keke Wyatt (R&B Divas), Bobby Valentino (Recording Artist), and other fancy folk.
