[Video] Deelishis Says Stop Comparing Her Alleged Domestic Violence Incident to Rihanna
Domestic violence is a touch subject. Chances are, someone you know, love or even yourself have been affected. Recently, news hit that former reality star Deelishis had jumped out of a two-story window, after being attacked by her estranged husband. While conflicting reports were reported, Deelishis has spoken out, denying that anything physical happened. In fact, she’s saddened that her own fans would compare her to Rihanna. In a recent interview, with a bit of side stepping (or maybe that’s our incorrect interpretation), she addresses what happened. Peep a few excerpts.
On Being Compared to Rihanna Because of Her Alleged Domestic Violence Dispute:
Someone sent me a tweet saying Deelishis now you know how Rihanna feels. Thats not funny its sorta embarrassing everybody has their own domestic situation weather its an aggressive argument or they get physical its unfortunate that when you are celebrity that your stuff has to be aired everywhere.
You don’t want to be known as the person who is beaten or has been subjected to domestic violence even though its not true I don’t want to be associated with anything like that.
On Being a survivor:
I have under gone a lot of success but i feel you hear more than you do positive. I stand strong on who I am and what I’m going and what I’m going to do. I’ve survived a not so good marriage. I’ve been called everything from a stripper to a 304(Hoe).
On How Blacks Don’t Support Each Other, During Controversy:
When something happens and I’m not being racist I’m being real. When something happens to a white artist whether its a rapper, actor, vixen, dancer they rally around them even the craziest of entertainers. When something happens to a black singer, rapper, actor, dancer, vixen model its like you take it as a joke. What if this really happened what if I fall or jumped from a second story window.
