LHHATL’s Momma Dee Says Erica Dixon Is Physically Abusive to Scrappy: ‘She’s Jumped On My Son & Hit Him!’
The queen has spoken (her words not ours). Love & Hip Hop Atlanta’s Momma Dee has no intentions on making amends with her son’s girlfriend and cast mate Erica Dixon and in fact their turbulent relationship has been the focus of several episodes of the show.In a recent interview, Momma Dee revealed that Erica is physically abusive to her son Lil Scrappy, spoke on the couple’s child suppirt issues and says he should have married ex-girlfriend Diamond. Peep the excerpts below.
On Erica’s recent Black Men’s Magazine spread:
I really don’t care to see my granddaughter’s mother in any other light but being my granddaughter’s mother. When you got a person that wasn’t raised by their mama and don’t have no real values, they tend to wander like that, you know what I’m saying.
On Erica being physically abusive of Lil Scrappy:
People don’t know that Erica is very physically abusive.She’s jumped on my son, and hit him and stuff. And what mother will like a woman that does that off camera? Then people want to point fingers ’cause the TV don’t show you that, and then say, ‘Momma Dee, why you don’t like Erica?’ Well, where’s your child and daughter? Wouldn’t you protect your child even if they were grown if your daughter came home and she was jumped on and had black eyes by a man? Wouldn’t you ladies and gentlemen get mad if your 25-year-old son or 29-year-old son had a wife or a girlfriend and he came home and his arm broke and face is all scratched up for nothing ’cause she having fits like ya’ll saw on TV? Would you like her? Would you accept her into the fold? No!”She is [physically abusive]. Ya’ll just keep watching the show, you going to see more, ’cause her and her mama shows out with their alley back ways.”
On Erica making a deal with Scrappy to take him off child support if he put her on the show:
When I hear her say stuff like that [that Scrappy’s broke], it hurts me, because if it wasn’t for him, she wouldn’t be on a show. Because VH1 asked him, he could pick any woman. He chose her to help her. And you can quote me on this one, I’ll put my hand on the Bible – the understanding was that if he put her on the show, that she’d take him off child support. She signed the papers to get put on the show, to take him off child support. He said, ‘I’m only paying you $3500 a month, but you making plenty now going on gigs and walk-throughs.’ So he did her a real good favor ’cause I got 2 kids by 2 different men, and they ain’t never put me on like that. So you see that she is not even grateful, to do him like that.
On who’s crossed her more – Diamond or Erica – And how Scrappy would have married Diamond if she had anything to do with it:
Diamond never cursed me, Diamond has never called me out my name, Diamond has never tried to fight me. She has never hit Scrappy. Let me tell you something, I just hate that girl [Diamond] made that bad decision, because if I had something to do with it, he would have married her. That’s the sweetest little thing. She may have been a little whorish, but as women, we make our wrong decisions. Every man I slept with wasn’t the best. She made a bad decision, and she’s the one that has to live with it, not us. Scrappy was very hurt and bothered by it. He’s gotten over it, he’s moved on. But, Diamond is a sweet young lady, and if I had to be honest, she’s a sweet girl. Her mother is just as sweet as she is.
Recently, Lil Scrappy checked into a rehab facility to seek help for his addiction to marijuana. You can catch more Momma Dee on Love & Hip Hop Atlanta Mondays at 8 PM, EST on VH1.

So let me make sure I got this straight—Scrappy agreed to put her on the show in lieu of child support. Well it sounds like he was looking out for himself not Erica or their child. Plus, he was staying with Erica in season 1 because he didn’t have anywhere to stay.
THANK YO U Mika! Please! Men who make deals so that they don’t have to financially support their child is ONLY looking out for their own best interest. Who else would he have put on the show??? Diamond dropped him, Shay??? who carries baggage and is best known for Flava Flav? Please, he had no choice bc the way reality TV works is, they follow you. She would have ended up on the show anyway.
Mama Dee is a psycho. You mean to tell me that Erica abuses Scrappy and that’s NEVER been mentioned? Come on, now! The show loves drama, they would have been sure to cover that? And agreed about the child support. What is his problem with paying to take care of his child? Why am I always hearing about a deal that was struck so he doesn’t have to pay child support. Also, if your “on child support” as they keep saying, it means you weren’t paying in the first place. And as soon as a woman is making money, men want to think it takes them off the hook for also helping to support their child. That should be money you pay willingly. Lastly, when LAHHA first started, wasn’t Mama Dee hating on Diamond? Now she wishes Scrappy married her? Now she jumped from Team Shay? Ugh, she’s ridiculous.
I agree with all the comments above. Momma Dee and her triflin son just disgust me. How could she or any woman think that it is ok for a man to make a deal to get off of child support. Just because I have a job, whether it be a reality star or not, doesnt mean that I should take care of OUR child by myself. If you got me a job working at Mcdonalds does that mean you should be taken off too. News flash Momma Dee…your son IS broke!!! And he’s also immature, dumb, triflin and a loser. Any man that chooses to not take of their children is not a man in my opinion. I do not have children but I hate to see women go through situations like this.
Like Erica said Mama Dee is bipolar and on medication. And this queen bs right. Mama Dee needs to sit down looking all hard in the face and Shay looking like a baby monkey with her begging azz wow Mama Dee and Shay needs to get them some business and get a life while their at it. Mama Dee needs to burp Scrappy and leave his relationships alone. I agree with his father, Mama Dee is the problem.
Momma Dee is a fool & need to wean Scrappy off her breast milk. She is always trying to take up for her son at all cost. She would lie cheat & steal for that boy. Who is really going to believe what she has to say. Scrappy needs to MAN-UP! Stop acting like a child and take care of his responsibilities. He is to old to running around town doing everything but provide for his child. Scrappy & his momma are clowns. I’m glad Erica is on the show. She can finally reap the benefits of being screwed by this crazy family. #Team Erica
