[VIDEO] Laura Govan Still Has Cold Feet About Another Season of ‘Basketball Wives LA’, Weighs In On Draya’s Parenting Skills
Season 2 of Basketball Wives of LA may be over but some of the ladies are using their celebrity status to help others, while taking a break from the cameras. Recently, Laura Govan, attended the LadyLike Foundation’s ‘Women in Excellence’ awards in Beverly Hills. The foundation helps prepare, empower, awaken, and inspire women of all ages to become well-rounded professionals. In a quick chat, we caught up with the reality star and what she’s been up to these days. And of course we had to ask what her thoughts were on the tea surrounding BBWLA castmate Draya Michele. Peep the excerpts:
What’s going on outside of filming?
I have a lot going on actually. I am a bridesmaid of NeNe Leakes and it’s very exciting. We’ve been doing a lot not to let nothing out of the bag… And we have other things going on. Things I can’t talk about.
Draya is getting a lot of heat about her parenting skills, do you think people are being to critical?
Yeah I do. At this point because I feel like Draya was young when she had her first baby and I think that with growth- she’s grown a lot as a woman. I’ve watched her excel from this- she’s an entrepreneur. She’s doing great things. Despite what is going on in her personal life I think her hustle is great and I think those are things you have to respect. She’s making it happen. She’s doing what she’s doing now for her family and you can only do nothing but respect it.”
Would you come back for another season of Basketball Wives LA?
I’m not sure. We’re going to have to wait and see.
