The American Society Of Composers, Authors And Publishers (ASCAP) 26th Annual Rhythm & Soul Music Awards went down in LA this week. Some of your musical artists, songwriters and producers like Usher, Tyrese, Kendrick Lamar, NeYo, Michelle Williams, Kelly Price, 2 Chainz attended. Kendrick Lamar received the Vanguard Award (presented by mentor and collaborator Dr. Dre), 2 Chainz and Drake collaborator Noah “40? Shebib received Songwriter of the Year, while Diddy and L.A. Reid teamed with ASCAP president Paul Williams, Jimmy Jam and Terry Lewis to present the Golden Note Award to Usher.
