It’s officially over, y’all! BET’s first year of incorporating, the BET Experience has officially wrapped.

Transforming into a weekend bash, the event focused its attention on the awards portion of the weekend’s festivities after numerous performances, high temperatures and well-attended seminars. Drake led with the most nominations as the awards were handed out at L.A.’s Nokia Theatre, but Kendrick Lamar was the night’s big winner, taking the new artist and male hip hop artist awards.
