Michael B. Jordan, Octavia Spencer + The Cast of ‘Fruitvale Station’ Attend NYC Premiere
The cast of critically acclaimed, ‘Fruitvale Station’ attended the premiere at the Museum of Modern Art in New York City. Directed by Ryan Coogler, the film is based on the is based on the true story of Oscar Grant (portrayed by Michael B. Jordan), a 22-year old man who was killed by police on New Years Day 2009. The movie recounts Grant’s last day as he tangles with enemies, friends and strangers until his final moments.
At this years Sundance Film Festival, the film won both the Grand Jury Prize for feature and the Audience Award for U.S. dramatic film. Oscar-winners Octavia Spencer, Cuba Gooding Jr., actress Melonie Diaz, BET’s Debra Lee and rapper Fabolous walked the red carpet. Peep the pics below.
