EXCLUSIVE: Behind The Scenes Of ‘The Real’s’ First Episode + The Game Dishes On Relationship Status With Ex-Fiance/Baby Mama

For the past month, talk show junkies have been buzzing about day-time’s newest show ‘The Real’. Taking a page from Barbara Walter’s 10 year old show, ‘The View’, this new FOX show features women of color and unconventional opinions. The cast includes Tamar Braxton, Adrienne Bailon, Jeannie Mai, Tamera Mowry-Housely and Lonnie Love.

Recently, Jasmine BRAND (*raises hand*) attended the first taping of the new show, getting some behind the scenes scoop of cast, chemistry and atmosphere. So which celebrity did ‘The Real’ snag on episode one? None other than rapper turned reality star, The Game.

Apparently the Cali native can’t get enough of non-scripted TV, as he’s back for season two of ‘Marrying the Game’. The VH1 show stars him and baby-mama/girlfriend, Tiffany Cambridge. While chatting it up with the show’s hosts, the 33- year old hinted that he and Tiffany still aren’t married and their relationship status was still questionable. Long story short, they’re trying to work on their relationship, while co-parenting.

Now, for a few observations:

—> I’ll be honest, behind the scenes was pretty uneventful. The hosts seem to get along off camera and in between breaks.

—> Tamar, who literally just pushed a baby out, has already bounced back. What’s her work-out regimen? She didn’t dish much on how she lost the weight, but confessed she had a few pair of spanks on (“There is a method to this madness…I didn’t drop anything actually. I’m tucked and plucked. I got like 14 girdles on underneath.”)

—> Lonnie Love seems to be the glue or gel that keeps the conversation light and airy (Tamar and Tamara seem to have opposing views often times).

—> Adrienne Bailon seems to be the anchor, introducing most segments, wrapping segments, etc.

—> In between commercials, there wasn’t much talent and audience interaction. That may change as the hosts become more familiar w run of show.

—> One of my fav segments was when an audience member won a designer bag, with fun prizes (one of the items was a breast milk flavored lollipop). One lucky chica won a LV bag!
