[Personal Blog Post] Jasmine BRAND Wins ‘Outstanding Celebrity Blogger & Journalist’ Award

Friends, I have some exciting news! Recently, I won the ‘Outstanding Celebrity Blogger & Outstanding Journalist‘ award, presented by the EOTMAwards (Entrepreneurs On the Move). The awards show, which was held last weekend at Pacific Design Center in Hollywood, is an accolade presented by the EOTMRadio and Network celebrating entrepreneurial achievements in business, philanthropy and the arts (recordings, television, radio and literature, film, directing and writing). This was my first time being nominated and winning any type of award in entertainment journalism (thanks to Windi Washington for the nomination) and the first time that I actually walked the red carpet (the word ‘nervous’ is an understatement).

Thankfully, I was in great company! Check out the full list of winners and other red carpet photos.

Quickly, without boring you LOL, here are a few quick ‘things’ that winning this award have taught me.

1. Be thankful. 

2. Get your Jesus (Allah or Budha) on. 

3. Lose the distractions. 

4. Don’t force it. 

5. Control your thoughts.

6. Don’t focus on competition. 

7. Keep going.
