Women of color brought their fashion A-game to BET’s annual ‘Girls Rock Event!‘ Founded by Beverly Bond, each year the event honors the accomplishments of exceptional women of color who have made outstanding contributions. This year, we caught women including Jennifer Hudson and Venus Williams (who rocked new hairstyles), Queen Latifah, Nia Long, KeKe Palmer, the cast of ‘Girlfriends’ (Jill Marie Jones, Persia White, Tracee Ellis Ross, Golden Brooks), Golden Brooks and a few other familiar faces lending their star power to the event. Kelly Rowland SLAYED the carpet. There is such an elegance and class about her outfit, even with it being sheer. I love the long semi-sheer pant legs. Skylar is my new girl crush. Sevyn Streeter’s outfit is fly too
i respectfully disagree. I dont like Kelly’s outfit, nor do I find it appropriate for the occasion.
Siestas were in rare form. I mean, absolutely stunning across the board. Can’t wait to catch the show next week.
I agree w/Razzi. Kellys outfit was very sexy/classy. I think she worked that outfit and rocked it all the way across the board. The hair fits right in as well. Now for Ms. Venus, that hair. OMG, its not a good look. Purple Braids, REALLY?
