Andy Cohen: Tons of questions for you about Mama Joyce. Starlight1531 wants to know ‘do you think Mama Joyce’s fear of Todd or dislike of Todd has to do with whether or not she has access to any of your money’?
Let me just kill that statement, my mother was upset with you guys last week.

Yes, well she’s not speaking to me right now because of you guys [Pheadra and Cynthia] last week–She didn’t like the fact that you guys were saying she needed me or whatever. My mother, she can be fine without my help. Let me just say that. But as her daughter, it’s my job to make sure she’s good. She made sure I was good growing up, I’m going to make sure she’s good. I don’t care if she doesn’t like my relationship, that’s my mom. I don’t care what y’all have to say. That’s my mama and I’m going to make sure my mama’s good. She don’t have to talk to me, she don’t have to say nothing to me, that’s my mom. Y’all can tweet, you can do whatever but that’s my momma, you can tweet ’til you get blue in the face. In other news, the songstress is taking her musical talents to off-Broadway. According to AlwaysAList, starting January 13, 2014, the reality star will join “Newsical The Musical” for a two-week stint at the Theatre Row on 42nd Street, NY. This comes on the heels of her own produced production “A Mother’s Love” in November. “I am thrilled to join the cast of ‘Newsical The Musical,” disclosed Burruss. “Having just come off of my own musical production, ‘Newsical The Musical’ furthers my journey in entertainment to, simultaneously, do more of what I love: act and sing.” -RealWizSharifa

I believe Kandi’s mom is jealous that her daughter has found love. In reality, she doesn’t want her daughter to be happy. She treats her daughter like she is a kid and not a grown woman. Once you raise your children and they become adults, they have to live their own lives. God did not intend for us to control our grown children’s lives. They have their own life to live whether we like their choices or not. The most she should do is be happy for her. Todd does not seem like he is caught up in the limelight. He seems like a nice and respectable young man. Any other man of the world would have cursed her momma out. Momma Joyce needs prayer and a reality check.

oops, accidentally hit the wrong button! (continued….) anyway, that being said, her Mom is “A-ok”. She’s well taken care of, living in the house next door, appears healthy & looks great. I don’t think she’ll ever have to worry about her daughter hanging her out to dry. Her Mom needs a man of her own, that’s the problem. If she had her own to focus on then maybe she wouldn’t be worried about Kandi & hers so much. She and her sisters need to get a life and Kandi needs to grow up and respectfully tell her Mom that enough is enough. Nothing wrong with loving Mom to death (as she should) but the bible says a man leave his father and his mother, and shall cleave unto his wife… same point of view for the woman, meaning to transfer dependency from the parents unto your husband. Her Mom is acting very bitter, jealous & evil. So sad.
I absolutely agree!!! Kandi always says she doesn’t know what happened or what is wrong. She know what it is, but doesn’t want to face the facts. Loving your mother and letting her run your life is two different things. Her mom is so wrong on so many levels. She really does sound bitter and knows Todd is a good man, but I think she is trying to make Kandi believe he is no good. I would have never thought her mother would act like that! After seeing her act that way what man would want to be bother with her? Maybe that is why she has not met anyone. She has scared them away. Not sure if the sisters are married, but they just agree with Joyce because she is the bully of the three and they are to scared to disagree with her.
Lets Face It. Kandi is Never going to get married. Ever thanks to her mama and her ability to grow some balls.

I’ll bet if Kandi cuts her mom off she’ll start acting like she has some sense because right now all this shows is that mama Joyce is jealous of Kandi’s happiness and that’s a damn shame coming from a mother.
This girl truly needs a back bone. Respectfully tell your mom what she needs to hear. … mom mind what is your busy and stay out of my personal life. If not. … Stay single forever
