Beyonce Celebrates Album Win With Private ‘Dave & Busters’ Party, Drake Moonlights As DJ
After dropping a surprise album on December 16th, Beyonce Knowles is in a celebratory mode.
On Thursday, she held a private album release party at Dave and Busters. The party, which went down after her Brooklyn stop (via the Mrs. Carter Tour), was attended by her team, along with model Jessica White and Drake moonlighting as the party’s DJ. She shared a few photos on her tumblr and thanked baker Buddy Valestro, who provided a tricked out cake for the party. According to Billboard the visual album did astounding numbers. The album sold over 600,000 copies in three days and is now certified platinum. The fact that Target pulled out doesn’t seem to be having much affect yet on sales.
