[VIDEO] Terrell Owens Stays Strong Amidst Divorce Rumors: ‘I can’t worry about what everybody else thinks.’
Looks like former NFL star Terrell Owens is having a roller coaster of a year. This week, the 40-year-old former wide receiver seemed to be in great spirits at the Hollywood premiere of About Last Night where he spoke with HipHollywood about his cameo in the film. In addition to making more appearances on the big screen, he explained that he’s working on a new fitness DVD and a line of home decor.
That’s great news, in comparison to his romantic life, which seems to be hitting a tough spot. Just two weeks ago, news broke that he and his new 33-year-old wife, Rachel Snider were headed for a divorce.
According to sources, the postal worker wants a divorce because she believes Owens only married her for money. In fact, sources she suggest that she believes he used her to get a loan for a $2 million home in Sherman Oaks, CA. To date, he’s remained pretty mum, but shared with Hip Hollywood that he’s remaining positive. He explained:
I have to put on a good smile and keep my head up…my family is first and foremost the most important thing to me right now. I can’t worry about what everybody else thinks or any allegations. So I just got to keep moving forward, keep my faith in God And keep moving.
