[VIDEO] Gabrielle Union Admits D.Wade Has Become Their Wedding Planner

The excitement and buzz surrounding the upcoming wedding ceremony for actress Gabrielle Union and Miami Heat’s Dwyane Wade continues. While the ‘Being Mary Jane‘ actress lips are sealed about the wedding details, it’s partially because she isn’t doing any of the wedding planning. This week, while on ELLEN, she confessed that D.Wade has made it his sole responsibility to plan the wedding of HIS dreams.

She says:
I’m out doing wine tastings, secretly this is like his princess moment he has waited for for a long time, he’s been hoarding bridal magazines, he’s very ready.
So far, Wade has been obsessed with every aspect of the wedding and even asking for Gabrielle’s input regarding new things like ” to have a centerpiece or to not have a centerpiece”.  She also shares with Ellen “he’s very particular about the music and the guest-lists” where she hints at the wedding being a bit smaller than what people expect and how their age difference has made an impact on planning as well. Nine years his senior, Gabrielle says she sees a big difference in the music selection explaining,
He wants Yung Jeezy, Im Like ‘Ooh Patti labelle’ and he’s like Ariane Grande. It’s like night and day.
Towards the end of the interview, she recalls an entertaining story involving China, alleged racism and blacks with watermelon.

She shares:
We’re at karaoke, they take us to this private room. Its a group of probably 10 black people. They go ‘Well be right back we’ve got something that we know you’ll love. They came back with a platter of watermelon. So nobody wanted to touch the watermelon and then after a minute were all singing and your voice gets a little parched…it was the most delicious watermelon I’ve ever tasted in my life.
