J.Lo Tells In Style: ‘My life feels overblown sometimes’.
J.Lo (real name Jennifer Lopez) is popping with color on the April 2014 cover of In Style magazine. The 44-year-old mother of twins opens up about her intense schedule balancing motherhood, music (she’s working on another solo project), business ventures and judge on American Idol. She tells the magazine:
You get to a point in life where it suddenly occurs to you that you don’t need all the things you once thought you did—that it’s really, well, convoluted. My life feels overblown sometimes, and I don’t want it to be. I want it to be streamlined. So I’m living a much more unscripted life now than I have in a long time.
Decked in Chanel, Lanvin and Gucci throughout the spread, J.Lo is proud of her upcoming project that features both pop and rap stars (like Chris Brown, DJ Mustard, French Montana, Max Martin, Cory Rooney).
This album is tough. There’s strength, but also humor. It’s about being smarter about love—and not taking yourself so seriously.
The issue is on stands and available for digital download March 14.
