Michelle Williams, Deitrick Haddon & Tye Tribbett Host New Reality Show ‘Fix My Choir’
Iyanla Vanzant isn’t the only one that can ‘fix’ folk! On the heels of popular show, Preachers of LA, Oxygen has green-lit another reality TV show. Titled, ‘Fix My Choir’, the show will feature gospel choirs that need some professional assistance. The show will be hosted by singer Michelle Williams, gospel artist Tye Tribett and Preachers of LA’s Deitrick Haddon. The network confirmed the news at UPFRONT, along with a press release that featured a performance from the three artists. Check out the network’s description:
In this bold and uplifting music-driven series, struggling choirs will get a chance of much needed mentoring with the help of gospel superstar Deitrick Haddon (“Preachers of L.A.”) and Grammy-Award winning recording artist Michelle Williams of “Destiny’s Child” fame. Each week, the duo will surprise a community, school or gospel choir and help them find perfect harmony both within their music – and their members. They will dive deep into the members’ lives to tackle the choir’s core issues including leadership, inter-personal conflicts, artistic direction and presentation, doing whatever it takes to get these choirs back on track with perfect pitch and newfound confidence.
Deidtrick confirmed the news on Instagram, announcing:

Deitrick Haddon will serve as one of the show’s executive producers.
Last month, in an exclusive interview with theJasmineBRAND.com, Deitrick confirmed that Preacher of LA would be spinning off to other cities. While he shared his excitement, he noted that he’s a bit concerned about casting new cities:
I wanna make sure, I’m concerned about the preachers being ready for the ridicule that comes with it. I don’t know if–you know preachers, they have this strong facade but they don’t have tough skin. I don’t know if these preachers can handle this, you know but we’ll see.
Anywho, what are your thoughts about ‘Fix My Choir’?
