Some argue that competition is both essential and healthy. Such may be the case for New York’s Power 105’s The Breakfast Club and Hot 97 radio station. Since The Breakfast Club’s inception, there seems to be some ongoing silent (and sometimes verbal) beef between the two entities. During a recent interview with Global Grind’s Blogxilla, DJ Envy, Charlamagne and Angela Yee discuss their thoughts on the alleged radio beef. I think initially they had more of a problem with us, you know…It was an issue for them. Maybe it’s a competitive thing. I don’t know if it’s personal or what it is.
