Paid in Full! Swizz Beatz Pays Off 550k to Feds
Turns out, being financially responsible is gaining popularity in the celeb world. Despite numerous reports of stars owing the IRS, that can’t be said for Swizz Beatz (real name Kasseem Dean). The mega producer has paid over 550k for years old debt.
Back in 2008, the now 35-year-old husband to Alicia Keys, was slapped with a federal income tax lien by Uncle Sam. The document accused the producer of failing to pay taxes for the year 2007 – before he married Alicia and was still with his ex-wife Mashonda.
The lien stated the couple owed a total of $556,986.32 in back taxes.
As previously reported, Beatz has been through numerous tax issues –being hit with liens from both NY State and the Federal Government over the years. At one point, his debt totaled 2.1 MILLION dollars.
However, the good news is the IRS filed a release on the lien on May 7th in NY claiming Mr. Alicia Keys had paid off the entire debt in full and no longer owed the cash. Read the exclusive documents!
