Tracy Morgan’s Writer & Close Friend, James ‘Jimmy Mack’ McNair Dies in Car Accident
Additional information has been released about the car crash involving comedic actor Tracey Morgan. As previously reported, early Saturday morning (June 7th), a limo bus carrying Tracy and other passengers crashed on the New Jersey Turnpike. The limo bus, which was also carrying two drivers, overturned at around 1 a.m. at Cranbury Township, New Jersey.
According to the Huffington Post, James McNair best known as “Jimmy Mack” to the comic community and churchgoers, was killed in the accident.
The Associated Press reports that the 63-year-old comic of Peekskill, N.Y., was pronounced dead at the scene. He was named as one of Morgan’s comedy writers and close friends. He also hosted “The Original Uncle Jimmy Mack’s Amateur Hour”.
Reportedly, Tracy is still in critical condition, along with three others from the bus. Lewis Kay said in a statement:
