[INTERVIEW] Peter Thomas: I want people to know who Cynthia is.

Hands down, Peter Thomas is one of the more vocal husbands of the Real Housewives of Atlanta. His straight no chaser, often times entertaining opinions have caused him to bump heads with a few cast mates, but that’s why some of us keep watching — right? Recently, theJasmineBrand.com correspondent Imani Naomi caught up w Cynthia Bailey’s better half at ASCAP’s 27th annual Rhythm & Soul Music Awards. Check out our conversation with the Jamaican-bred business owner.

the Jasmine BRAND: So this weekend is all about the music, so tell us what’s your favorite summer song?

Peter: Other than the usual, I’m in the bar business and I hear music every night. A lot of them, I don’t even know who’s in them but I’m a Jay-Z fan by heart.

the Jasmine BRAND: We saw Cynthia’s beautiful spread in Ebony, she looked gorgeous and you’re quoted as saying, ‘She is the most beautiful housewife’. How do you guys keep your marriage fresh?

By being honest with each other. She is my favorite person and I believe I’m hers also, that’s why we got married. It’s all about support and our household at all times. Ya know, Cynthia is a beautiful soul period so usually what people see is what it is. I just want everybody to know who she is. She’s not cantankerous, she’s not going to try to mix it up. Ya know, she’s been on the show now for four years and you’ve never even heard a curse [word] come out of her mouth and that’s what true is, she’s gotta stay true to herself and that’s what it’s all about.
