[INTERVIEW] Charli Baltimore Talks Rumored Beef With Faith Evans, Lil Kim & New Album

 She’s a sweetheart. We never had any beef it’s just that people misconstrue things and make things that they want to make but she’s an absolute sweetheart.

theJasmineBRAND.com: Speaking about people misconstruing things, what is your relationship now with Lil Kim? Any beef or that’s a part of the past as well?

 As far as I’m concerned it’s a thing of the past. I don’t have beef with anybody especially if I’m not paying any attention, ya know.

theJasmineBRAND.com: At this stage in your career, how do you feel about beef?

 It’s negative energy, like I don’t have time for that. I’m all about positive energy and positive people so I try to stay away from anything that’s going to pull away from that.

theJasmineBRAND.com: What advice would Charlie Baltimore today give herself 10 years ago?

 Be patient. That’s all the advice that I would give myself is to just be patient.

theJasmineBRAND.com: Now you’ve always been fly but lately it seems like you’ve stepped your game up, so what goes into the making of Charlie Baltimore in 2014?

 You know, it’s not like a whole big brain thing that I have going on, it’s just sometimes I wake up and I feel one way and that’s just what it is. I try not to make things too complicated so, if it comes out good , it comes out good and if it doesn’t, it doesn’t. I feel like the less effort you put in it, the better it turns out.

theJasmineBRAND.com: If you could ask God one question and get an answer, what would you ask him?

 Why couldn’t I be patient 10 years ago? With experience and age comes great knowledge, so…

theJasmineBRAND.com: What’s one of the biggest lessons that you’ve learned about yourself and in general with past relationships?

 I have no filter, so I just say anything. I’m a Leo so I can’t help it. I’m still learning that as I go along, I think if I had a better filter and knew how to present things a little better instead of just being so blunt, then maybe it will work out better because men have such delicate egos.
