[INTERVIEW] Jalen Rose on Pam Oliver’s Replacement, Advice For Rookies: Don’t get too many babies by too many women.
Jalen Rose: I think both are really talented. Pam has been doing it for a couple decades. Erin’s paid her dues at ESPN and at Fox. Pretty sure that’s a tough back office decision that I’m glad I didn’t have to make.
theJasmineBRAND.com: Rookies who have gotten picked up may get cut, what advice would you give to those who don’t make it?
Jalen Rose: Rent, lease, save your money, keep your entourage down, and don’t get too many babies by too many women. That child support don’t stop for 18 years.
theJasmineBRAND.com: What’s one of the biggest lessons you’ve learned from either your present or past relationships with a significant other?
Jalen Rose: You know it’s better to be friends. If you can be yourself, you can be honest, if you don’t have to lie about where you’re going or who you’re talking to, or things of that nature. That creates the ultimate trust and when have trust I think that’s the foundation for any good relationship.
