Alicia Keys Throws Swizz Beatz ‘Coming to America’ Birthday Party
What a celebration!
Last night, Swizz Beatz (real name Kasseem Dean) had a birthday celebration fit for a king. The music producer/artist turned 35 and had a HUGE party, thrown by his wife, Alicia Keys.
As you can tell by the photos, the theme was Coming to America.
The party was held at Capitale in NYC. Celebrity attendees included Swizz’s ex-wife Mashonda, DMX, Diddy, Naomi Campbell, Carmelo and Lala Anthony, Busta Rhymes and A$AP Ferg.
After the party, Swizz wrote:

Really Mashonda doesnt have friends of her own.lm not saying she should hate on them.But my ex and his wife dont need to be my party buddies.It makes her look clingy.That clearly had nothing to do with their son.
It’s call MATURITY! You don’t have to be ignorant because your past lover has moved on.
Letting go and moving on is a sign of maturity as well.
He was her ex husband not just a lover.
I agree with Kim. Have your own life and your own friends. I don’t think it’s immature to not want to share intimate celebrations with your ex-husband, his new wife and their friends.
