J.Lo Relives Verbally Abusive Relationship In ‘True Love’

J.Lo is sharing a few jaw-dropping secrets (about herself of course) in her new memoir, True Love. In an excerpt shared by PEOPLE, the 45-year-old pop star reveals that in one of her past relationships, she experienced verbal and emotional abuse. She writes:

I’ve never gotten a black eye or a busted lip, but I’ve been in relationships where I have felt abused in way or another: mentally, emotionally, verbally. I know what it feels like for your soul to be diminished by the way your loved one is treating you.

The “Booty” singer’s list of high profiel exes include Diddy, Casper Smart, three ex-husbands Ojani Noa, Chris Judd and Anthony and an engagement to Ben Affleck.
